Those of you who follow me here and on Instagram will know that I’ve recently enjoyed something of a love affair with Miami. Well, here I am, back in town, enjoying good restaurants, unique little shopping boutiques and the ever-present sunshine.

This time, I’m at the W Hotel, a very new hotel, with a super cool nightclub. The pool is great, as is the service, but I prefer the Setai, where I stayed the last time I came. The funny thing is that the two hotels are side by side, so you can go from one to the other in just a few steps.

I went to the Lido Restaurant, a very hip and beautiful spot in front of the Standard Hotel. It’s worth going for the burrata as an entré and the Oreo sundae is just delish.

But the best thing about it is you can eat whilst looking out over the bay. Perfect for a relaxed lunch.

There’s a chain of restaurants in Miami called: Prime Italian and Prime 112 and now they have opened Prime Fish. All very good, and very close to each other! Well worth a visit.

For a more hip dining experience, the Baoli is the perfect spot! It’s a restaurant with great ambience which turns into a club later in the evening... Loud music and everyone dancing!

A store that I love here in Miami is in Bal Harbour: the mega department store Neiman Marcus. They have 42 stores, but this one is my favourite. I always find the party dress of my dreams there and the prices are low, especially compared to other shopping stores.

I have always been a huge fan of Intermix, a department store on a smaller scale than Neiman Marcus. When I'm in NYC, I can lose myself for hours in the various branches in the city.

To my delight, I discovered they have two outlets here in Miami, one on Collins Avenue and another in Bal Harbour.

So, next stop: Los Angeles. Anyone have any tips?
