Those who follow me on Instagram already know that I’ve just spent a week in Miami . I was invited to the Brazil Foundation Gala , and decided to spend few days in the always-sunny city .
I was staying at The Setai, on Collins Avenue , right on the water. The
hotel, besides being gorgeous, has amazing service - from the pool to the beach , you will be treated well by the staff anywhere . Ah , the smell of the lobby is quite lovely too - it makes you want to stay there for hours, just enjoying the decor.
The price is a bit steep (daily 800 USD + / - ) , but that is the price you pay for this type of accommodations. Recommended!
In Miami , the common schedule is to spend the day at the beach or by the pool and to lunch somewhere nice . For those who enjoy partying, I suggest the brand new Cavalli Miami, a restaurant owned by the designer Roberto Cavalli. The decor reflects the brand's style , with jaguar and zebra prints all around. The cuisine is Italian with Tuscan influences . The spaghetti with lobster and artichokes is a must.
If you prefer a late lunch while enjoying a beautiful view, Juvia is the right place for you. On top of the most beautiful parking garage in the world , on Lincoln Road 1111, you can see almost the entire city from the restaurant. The buratta salad is delicious and almost all the drinks are worth savoring . It's perfect for watching the sunset.
In that same building , occupying both the 5th and the ground floor , is one of the most amazing stores in Miami, The Alchemist. With its keen sense of curatorship, the store has the most exclusive pieces by the top brands . Kenzo Sweatshirts Proenza Schouler bags of all colors, as well as Isabel Marant, Celin,
Alaia , ie , only the good and the best .
