They say that New York is a city that never sleeps. That may be the case, but, for me, it is the city that is always innovating. Every trip brings a new discovery, a super hip restaurant, a must-see play or a shop full of unique pieces. This time around, the latest news has to do with the Trump Soho Hotel, where I ended up staying.
A part of the Trump Towers Group, it is located in the hip Soho neighborhood, a few steps away from Tribeca and West Village. Luxury and comfort in the right dosages and spacious rooms with a breathtaking view at reasonable prices.
This is not so new, but when I pass through the Big Apple, a stop at Intermix is a must. The shop sells a variety of brands and has several branches in the city, having just opened a store in Brooklyn. On the racks you will find trendy and super exclusive garments. If you run into me in NYC, you’re likely to see me with an Intermix bag in hand.
And as far as food goes, I recommend the Japanese restaurant Neta, a tip offered by the renowned Brazilian chef Roberta Sudbrack. The decor is simple, as is expected of the best Japanese restaurants. The dishes are so good, they will make you cry. Order the spicy lobster and crispy rice with salmon. Then kneel and thank God for such a delicacy!
