As I mentioned earlier, I will only be heading to Paris tomorrow but that doesn't mean I haven't been keeping up with the runways. So far, I have been blown away by some shows, starting with Maison Margiela, which is now led by none other than John Galliano. The collection was futuristic, with Japanese influences. The endless applause at the end showed why Galliano is who he is - few could have created such works of art for the runways.

Jacquemus showed us exactly why he has been the talk of fashion this past year. This is the first show he did with the financial support of LVHM. His evolution as a designer plus the €100,000 he was granted for the collection resulted in even more progressive deconstructed looks that Jacquemus is now famous for. I loved the color choice - plan red, white and blue, so classic! - and the origami touch he imbued in the collection. I am simply in love.

I also loved what I saw on the Dries Van Noten runway: oversized and texturized pants coupled with structured blazers. I fell in love with their embroidered 70s platforms - how could one not? And of course, the mix of colors was amazing - a signature of the maison.
