Next week, Prada will launch its custom shoe service at Harrods. By the end of the month anyone can make their Oxfords more personal - all you need to do is use your imagination and forget your credit card limit.

Colored soles, detailling (using rare materials including crocodile skin), monograms and even leather shoelaces can be handpicked by you, all within a palette of 32 colors. The price is 470 pounds and the waiting time for your personalised footwear is estimated to be six weeks.

The customization service will be transferred to the brand's new store on Bond Street shortly afterwards.

This innovative feature is so Prada-esque! The brand started making shoes almost a century ago and is constantly reinventing itself. I can’t wait to start seeing the results on the streets!
