The Chicago History Museum has paid tribute to Christian Dior and American socialite Petra Slinkard. Now, the museum is paying homage to the fashion of Chicago with the exhibition 'Styled Chicago: Fashioning the Magnificent Mile'.

There will be 26 looks that tell a story about fashion in the classic American city. It was there that Versace opened his largest store to date in 1986, with an expo at a local museum. For the occasion, the designer donated a dress made entirely of metal links. This dress will be exhibited, alongside clothing donated by people such as the owner of a local boutique responsible for promoting new talent in the fashion world.

The exhibition opens November 15th and runs until August 2015. It's worth checking out!
