Although I have been travelling a lot lately, I've been missing London
Town and am specially excited for the new attractions of the city for
the summer. If you haven't checked it out yet, make sure you make a
stop at the Switch House, Tate's new 10-story space, which has been
designed by the Herzog & de Meuron and promises to be the new "it"
museum of the city!

The space will be the stage for art performances and the home to new
acquisitions, like Ai Weiwei's gigantic Tree, a work he created in
2015, with a height of almost 7 meters. Thankfully, the Switch House
has plenty of space for it - and the many more artworks it is sure to
acquire in its lifetime.

It's interesting to see how museums have been adapting to the
technological revolution - changing their own spaces to accommodate
the latest advances in art - and the Switch House is certainly an
amazing reflection of art's changing times. Can't wait to head back to
London to see it all in person!
