If I were to choose one word to describe the newest expo of Anish Kapoor at Lisson Gallery, it would be visceral. There is no lack of guts and blood in the body of work that the Indian-British artist presented. The works, in their majority, were a junction between paintings and sculptures that replicated a mutilated and exposed body. Francis Bacon would've approved it!

What impressed me the most was Kapoor's ability of presenting an aesthetic so different from what we're used to: his metal sculptures that are almost liquid and transmit a tranquility nonexistent in this new body of work. Bravo!
