I'll only be arriving on Friday for the end of Paris Fashion Week, but for those already there and looking for some cultural activities to see between the shows, I recommend a stop at the Le Bal, a low-key gallery that features emerging talents in the art. Of course, I love stopping by the Pompidou when in Paris, but I also love to get my fix of new talents in the arts - and Le Bal is known for exhibiting their work.
Right now we can check out the exhibition EMPIRE by Samuel Gratacap, who just won the gallery's Young Artist Award. His photos depict refugees from the Libyan War in the Tunisian desert. The photos are incredibly powerful, definitely offering a change of perspective mid a fashion week. If I have some time on the weekend, I'll certainly stop by.
