Open until the 4th of August in NYC, the exhibition "City as Canvas: Graffiti Art From The Martin Wong Collection'' is a homage to all street art produced in the city in the 70s and 80s, which catapulted to fame names like Basquiat and Keith Haring.

At the time, Martin Wong was one of the best known names on the scene, not only because of his painting, but also because he collected works by his contemporaries.

Shortly before his death, Martin donated his collection to the Museum of the City of New York, where there is now an exhibition based on his legacy.

If you would love to see how street art is taking over galleries around the world, it's worth checking out this exhibition.
